Dr. Yvonne Huang completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with honors at California State University, Sacramento in 2008. Afterward, she pursued a physical therapist assistant (PTA) degree at Sacramento City College. Following three years of experience working as a PTA, she decided to further her education and earn a Doctor of Physical Therapist degree. While continuing to work part-time as a PTA, she graduated with honors from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos.

As a physical therapist, Dr. Yvonne believes in the importance of listening to her patients in order to develop tailored treatment plans that help them achieve their functional and personal goals. She places a high value on education and constantly seeks to expand her knowledge and improve her manual skills in order to provide the best possible care.

Dr. Yvonne’s experience with oncology patients inspired her to specialize in lymphedema management and breast cancer rehabilitation. Additionally, she has developed a passion for women’s and men’s health and pelvic floor dysfunction. She has several years of experience working with a wide range of pelvic floor dysfunctions and plans to pursue certification in this area in the future.

With her additional training and experience, Dr. Yvonne has developed a holistic approach to therapy, treating each person as a whole. She is also dedicated to increasing public awareness of pelvic and breast cancer therapy, ensuring that everyone knows these treatments are accessible to them. In addition to English, she is fluent in Chinese Mandarin and Taiwanese.
