Trisha M. McCulloch, DPT, CSCS, earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia. Trisha specializes in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She has received training from the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute to effectively treat individuals with lumbo-pelvic-hip complex dysfunctions, sexual dysfunction, bowel and bladder issues, and various pelvic pain disorders. Among the conditions she addresses are urinary and fecal incontinence, interstitial cystitis, overactive bladder, bladder and bowel urgency and frequency, constipation, pelvic floor dyssynergia, bladder and bowel voiding dysfunctions, chronic pelvic pain, dyspareunia, vaginismus, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, pubic symphysis pain, pregnancy-related pain, and diastasis recti.
Trisha has a keen interest in providing care for transgender individuals and patients undergoing prostate procedures. She has established herself in the outpatient orthopedic field, working with a major hospital corporation and an outpatient private practice. In these roles, she collaborates closely with referring physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care. Trisha has also delivered numerous public and hospital presentations to educate others on pelvic health therapy, pelvic floor dysfunction, and incontinence issues.
In 2017, Trisha was hired at The University of Kansas Health System to develop their Pelvic Health Therapy program. She is licensed as a physical therapist in both Missouri and Kansas. Additionally, Trisha is a U.S. Army combat veteran, having served two tours in Iraq as a CH-47D Chinook mechanic and crewchief. She is a devoted member of the Lenexa VFW Post #7397.
During her leisure time, Trisha enjoys riding her motorcycle, reading, watching movies, gardening, hiking, camping, traveling, and spending quality time with her loved ones. Her future goals include obtaining her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
