Movement is her nature. After dedicating many years to dance, she made the decision to pursue a career in Physical Therapy, ultimately graduating in 2004. With a desire to further explore different approaches to the body, she chose to undergo training in The Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education. Following the completion of a rigorous four-year training program, she was invited to join the Feldenkrais Institute of NY, a renowned institution dedicated to the teachings of Dr. Feldenkrais in the United States.
She deeply values how the Feldenkrais Method provides her with the tools to integrate both the body and mind in her treatment sessions. Recognizing the importance of continuous learning and growth, she continued to advance her studies in both the Feldenkrais Method and Physical Therapy, with a particular focus on Pelvic Health.
Not content with simply practicing within the confines of her profession, she actively engages with the community by offering informal classes at the University of Texas in Austin. These classes center around pelvic health and the body’s response to anxiety, providing valuable insights and education to those interested in these areas.
Overall, her dedication to movement, her extensive training, and her commitment to sharing her knowledge make her a valuable asset within the field of Physical Therapy and beyond.
