The assistant’s name is not provided, so we will refer to them as “the assistant.”

The assistant has an impressive educational background. They completed their undergraduate studies in Exercise Science at East Tennessee State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. They then went on to pursue further education at the same university, obtaining a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2018. In order to enhance their skills and expertise, the assistant also underwent post-doctoral training in Pelvic Health at the Herman and Wallace Institute for Pelvic Rehabilitation.

Originally from Bristol, TN, the assistant has a deep connection to their hometown. They completed both their undergraduate and postgraduate studies at East Tennessee State University, which has allowed them to develop a strong understanding of the local community and its needs.

Upon graduation, the assistant embarked on their professional career by working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic. During this time, they focused on honing their manual therapy skills and achieved certification in dry needling. However, a significant personal experience changed their career trajectory. Following a complicated pregnancy and delivery of their son, the assistant felt compelled to specialize in Women’s Health and Pelvic Health Physical Therapy.

In November 2021, the assistant had the privilege of joining State of Franklin OB/GYN Specialists as a full-time practitioner. This opportunity allows them to provide essential care to women in the area, drawing from their own firsthand experiences and understanding the importance of such services. The assistant is dedicated to creating individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient, with the ultimate goal of improving their quality of life. They approach their work with compassion and empathy, delivering the same level of care they would desire for themselves.

Outside of their professional life, the assistant cherishes spending time with their loved ones. Their husband, son, family, and friends are all integral to their happiness. They enjoy attending sporting events, traveling, and creating lasting memories together. Their personal experiences and connections contribute to their overall understanding and empathy when caring for their patients.
