Tamra Wroblesky, PT, DPT, is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. Born and raised in Monmouth County, Tamra’s journey in sports began with high school tennis at Freehold Borough. She then went on to become the captain of The College of New Jersey’s female tennis team, excelling in both singles and doubles. Tamra’s love for adventure led her to become an avid mountaineer, conquering peaks such as Mount Kilimanjaro, Pico de Orizaba, and Mount Rainier. In addition, she has completed the Ocean Drive Marathon and regularly engages in weightlifting at the gym.
As a former collegiate athlete with an active lifestyle, Dr. Wroblesky holds a special interest in treating female athletes, focusing on preventative protocols to minimize the risk of injury. She is a certified Sport Performance Coach by USA Weightlifting and works closely with various weightlifters, including Katie Montague, who achieved tremendous success under Tamra’s guidance at the University Nationals in spring 2017. Additionally, she collaborates with Crossfit boxes and USA Weightlifting, delivering her informative lecture titled “Pelvic Health for Performance.”
Dr. Wroblesky is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, receiving the esteemed 2017 Emerging Leader award from the organization, as well as recognition from the Section of Women’s Health. She was also honored as the “Phenomenal Woman under 40” by the Girls Scouts of the Jersey Shore in 2016. Her interest in pelvic health physical therapy stems from her own personal challenges with severe pelvic and hip pain over a span of six years. Having undergone multiple surgeries, including two hip labral tear repairs, Tamra possesses a deep understanding of the patient experience. She brings compassion and a unique perspective to her practice.
Before focusing her advocacy for pelvic health in the treatment room, Tamra openly shared her journey of recovering from pelvic pain on her award-winning health blog, “Sky-Circles.” She is also a contributor to the book “Pelvic Pain Explained,” available for purchase on Amazon. When she is not treating patients, Tamra can be found hiking up a mountain, engrossed in a good book, or savoring specialty coffee.
