Sue Persia, MS, OTR/L, RYT500 is an accomplished professional in the field of occupational therapy. With a focus on women’s health and pediatrics, Sue has established her own practice, Synergy Rehab and Wellness, LLC. Her main goal is to empower perinatal women by providing them with an integrative approach to enhance their health-related quality of life and pelvic floor rehabilitation.
Sue’s expertise lies in developing in-home programs that promote self-care routines for new mothers. These programs aim to strengthen the core and pelvic floor, reduce stress, improve sleep, establish household routines, and aid in postpartum recovery. Sue’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has further expanded her knowledge in pelvic health and perinatal care through her studies with the Herman & Wallace Institute and the Institute for Birth Healing. Currently, she is pursuing a doctorate degree at Thomas Jefferson University, where her thesis focuses on perinatal care.
In addition to her occupational therapy qualifications, Sue is also extensively trained in various forms of yoga. Her certifications include kid’s yoga, perinatal yoga, and using yoga as a therapeutic modality. Sue is also certified in Ayurveda and myofascial release, further enhancing her ability to provide holistic care to her clients.
