Stephanie obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Florida in 2016. Before that, she completed her undergraduate studies in Communications with a minor in Sociology at Florida State University. Originally from Florida, Stephanie began her career in Orthopedics and Pelvic Health physical therapy in her home state. While teaching English in Japan for the JET Program, she discovered her interest in studying human movement and rehabilitation through yoga.

Stephanie has a particular focus on treating pelvic floor related diagnoses and is working to offer this service in the Upper Valley. Her interest in pelvic health began during her physical therapy program, where she completed a clinical rotation with a specialization in pelvic health. She then started her career in Florida, practicing orthopedic and pelvic health physical therapy under the guidance of an experienced therapist with a Women’s Health Certification. Stephanie later worked at a clinic specializing in pelvic floor physical therapy in Colorado, providing care for individuals with various pelvic floor related conditions. This experience fueled her passion for pelvic floor rehabilitation, leading her to pursue continuing education in this field. She completed all three levels of the Pelvic Health coursework through the APTA’s Section on Pelvic Health, which offers hands-on, evidence-based training for Physical Therapists in the evaluation and management of Pelvic Floor diagnoses. These training courses are internationally recognized by The International Continence Society (ICS) and ensure that Physical Therapists can provide evidence-based Pelvic Health services.

Stephanie has also completed Level 1 coursework in Functional Dry Needling with Kinetacore. Her extensive training in Pelvic Floor coursework and Orthopedics enables her to effectively manage pelvic floor dysfunction in both men and women. She has experience treating bladder and bowel dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain diagnoses, sexual dysfunction, and pregnancy and post-partum recovery. Stephanie’s treatments are personalized and evidence-based, incorporating techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, self-care, and neuromuscular re-education. She is dedicated to educating her patients about their bodies and treatment options, and she incorporates mindfulness into her sessions to engage and empower her patients. Stephanie takes a whole-body approach, combining orthopedic and pelvic floor rehabilitation treatments for individuals from all walks of life, including pregnant and post-partum women.

Stephanie is now based in New Hampshire, where she leads the Pelvic Health & Rehabilitation Program at Cioffredi & Associates in Lebanon and Grantham. Outside of her work, she enjoys exploring the beautiful mountains of New Hampshire with her husband and daughter. In her free time, she also enjoys running, hiking, practicing yoga, and cooking.
