Dr. Bahlani is a highly accomplished medical professional who graduated magna cum laude with an undergraduate degree. She further pursued her education and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Virginia Commonwealth School of Medicine in Richmond, VA. Following her graduation, Dr. Bahlani completed her residency in OB/GYN at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

After her residency, Dr. Bahlani joined the Smith Institute, where she gained valuable experience and expertise in the field of pelvic pain. She underwent a fellowship in urology under the mentorship of Dr. Robert Moldwin, a renowned leader and innovator in this field. Dr. Bahlani’s dedication and exceptional skills earned her the Marinoff Career Development Award from the National Vulvodynia Association in 2014. This prestigious award has allowed her to continue her clinical and research pursuits in treating vulvodynia and sexual pain.

Dr. Bahlani has been recognized for her contributions and has been invited to present her research at various conferences, including the International Association for the Study of Pain, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the American Urologic Association. Additionally, her work has been published in top national and international journals, highlighting her expertise and valuable insights in her field.

With her specialized training, Dr. Bahlani is equipped to treat patients with urologic and gynecologic pelvic pain syndromes, such as vulvodynia, pelvic floor dysfunction, interstitial cystitis, vulvar dermatoses, and female sexual dysfunction. As a compassionate clinician, she is committed to constantly expanding her knowledge and conducting research to fulfill her ultimate goal of alleviating women’s pain and empowering them with the tools to live fulfilling lives.
