Simona, a lifelong resident of Brooklyn, has been dedicatedly serving her borough since 2013. She works at NYU’s Family Health Center, where she offers a range of specialized services to the Brooklyn community. With her expertise in pelvic floor therapy, Simona assists patients in improving their pelvic floor function. Additionally, she provides cancer-specific wellness and healing services, as well as rehabilitation for individuals who have undergone gender-affirming surgeries. Simona conducts personalized one-on-one sessions that last 45 minutes, and most insurance plans are accepted. Importantly, she is LGBTQIA-friendly and possesses a strong understanding of transgender healthcare needs. Simona holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York University, which she completed in 2012.
