Shuqing Ding is a licensed acupuncturist who holds a certification from the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and is also board-certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In her previous role, she served as an integrated consultant colorectal surgeon at the National Center and Pelvic Floor Unit of Nanjing Municipal Hospital of Chinese Medicine, an affiliated hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in China.

Dr. Ding brings a wealth of experience to her practice, having worked as a research fellow at the Pelvic Floor Center in Minnesota and the Cleveland Clinic Digestive Institution in 2008 and 2014. She has a strong foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), having been born into a tenth-generation Chinese Medicine family and receiving training from both her family and university.

With her unique background, Dr. Ding has been at the forefront of integrating biofeedback therapy into the treatment of pelvic floor disorders. In fact, she was the first person in China to become board-certified by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance in 2008. She has also collaborated with the Biofeedback Foundation of Europe as a research leader in lower gastroenterology disorder and pelvic floor disorder, working on research and education programs.

Dr. Ding is internationally recognized as an expert in integrated medicine, with a specific focus on digestion issues and related pelvic floor disorders. Her dedication to clinical practice and research is evident in her impressive publication record, which includes over 100 papers, five books, and 10 patents in China.
