Shravya, a graduate of Emory University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, has established herself as a highly skilled professional in the field of orthopedic assessment, evaluation, and treatment. Her expertise is the result of extensive training, including over 150 hours of one-on-one mentoring with orthopedic mentors and considerable time spent shadowing orthopedic surgeons. She has also completed various orthopedic specialty courses, with a particular focus on spine and sacroiliac joint functional assessment and treatment.
In addition to her orthopedic training, Shravya has received specialized training in pelvic floor therapy from the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, completing levels 1, 2A, and 2B. She has also pursued additional courses in pregnancy and postpartum care. With her diverse skill set, she is well-equipped to address a wide range of conditions, including low back, hip, or sacroiliac joint-related pelvic pain, pelvic girdle pain, vestibulodynia, vulvodynia, pelvic floor muscle tension and pain, prolapse, urinary incontinence, constipation, as well as pregnancy and postpartum care.
Shravya’s dedication to her field extends beyond her own practice. She has also served as a clinical instructor for Doctor of Physical Therapy students from various universities, sharing her knowledge and expertise with the next generation of professionals.
Shravya’s personal journey played a significant role in shaping her career path. She discovered the power of pelvic physical therapy in relieving her own back and sacroiliac joint pain, which ignited her passion for pelvic health. Now, she combines her love for orthopedics and pelvic health, connecting on a deeper level with her patients by drawing from her personal experience with chronic pelvic pain. This unique perspective allows her to provide compassionate and effective care.
