Sarah, a native of Memphis, was raised in the city and later attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. There, she pursued her passion for the medical field by earning a bachelor’s degree in exercise science with a minor in psychology. During her studies, Sarah discovered her interest in Physical Therapy while shadowing at a pediatric outpatient clinic.

Driven by her desire to work with children, Sarah decided to further her education at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where she completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Her dedication to pediatric care was evident during her final school rotation at a pediatric outpatient clinic in Knoxville, TN.

Returning to Memphis, Sarah took up a position at a local trauma hospital, where she found herself once again drawn to the world of pediatric care while covering shifts in the Neonatal ICU. She not only enjoys treating children but also takes pleasure in educating parents on important issues related to their child’s well-being.

Sarah’s interest in pediatric pelvic health was sparked through a connection she made with one of the owners of Mojo. This connection occurred while they were searching for a babysitter, and since then, Sarah has been actively pursuing her education and deepening her knowledge in this specialized area. Recognizing the growing need for pelvic health services for children in the community, she has shifted her focus to specialize in this field and provide assistance to children facing these sensitive issues.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Sarah enjoys spending her free time climbing, taking her puppy Stella to the dog park, soaking up the sun at the lake, playing with her niece and nephew, and passionately supporting the hogs.
