Sandy Gibson, a graduate of Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO, has been practicing as a Physical Therapist since 1986, specializing in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy for over 20 years. She holds certifications in Manual Physical Therapy (CMPT) and Pelvic Rehabilitation Certified Practitioner (PRPC) from the Herman and Wallace Institute, as well as a Certification of Achievement in Pelvic Physical Therapy (CAPP) from APTA. Sandy believes that her combined certifications in Orthopedic and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation have enhanced her ability to treat the whole body and achieve better outcomes for her patients.

Sandy is experienced in treating both women and men who suffer from bladder, bowel, orthopedic, and sexual issues related to pelvic floor muscle dysfunction. She particularly enjoys assisting women in staying active during pregnancy and postpartum, addressing concerns such as diastasis recti, prolapse, and orthopedic issues like hip, sacroiliac, symphysis pubis, and pelvic pain. Additionally, she has successfully treated numerous men with pelvic pain, often misdiagnosed as chronic prostatitis. Sandy’s personal experience with pelvic floor related issues has fueled her passion for providing excellent care and fostering empathy towards her patients.

Currently, Sandy works in both Franklin and West Nashville locations, offering one-on-one, hour-long visits in a private and comfortable setting. Outside of the clinic, she cherishes spending time with her family and enjoys outdoor activities like golfing, hiking, biking, and camping in the beautiful Tennessee scenery.
