Robert Berkley, PT, DPT, has always had a passion for physical health and fitness. His journey began in the military, where he honed his skills in repairing machinery. Combining his love for exercise with his desire to fix things that are broken, Robert decided to pursue a career in physical therapy.

He earned a B.S. in physical therapy from Daemen College and started working as a physical therapist for Oswego Health. Robert’s dedication and expertise quickly earned him a promotion to the position of clinical manager. However, he had even bigger aspirations.

In July 2005, Robert took a leap of faith and opened his own private practice, Robert Berkley Physical Therapy, P.C. It was a significant milestone in his career, allowing him to provide personalized care to his patients. Determined to further his knowledge and skills, Robert pursued a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Utica College, which he obtained in August 2019.

As a physical therapist, Robert’s primary goal is to help his patients lead active and improved lifestyles. He believes that continuous education is key to achieving this goal, and he constantly seeks out new and improved treatments. Robert has received training in various techniques, including Kinesio Taping, Myofascial Release, McKenzie Spine Therapy, Pelvic Floor, and lymphedema therapy. In fact, he is the only Lymphology Association of North America (LANA) Certified therapist in Oswego County.

While Robert is proficient in traditional physical therapy approaches, he is always open to exploring new treatments in order to better serve his diverse range of patients. His commitment to their well-being is unwavering, as he believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a healthy and active life.
