She is thrilled to have the opportunity to share her passion for pelvic floor physical therapy with the women of Alaska. Originally from Idaho, she began her career as a physical therapist assistant and was introduced to the practice of pelvic floor PT. At the time, it was a relatively unknown field with very few practitioners. Although intrigued, she never imagined herself pursuing it. However, she decided to further her education and obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND, in 2017.
During her time at the university, she had the chance to take an introductory course on pelvic floor therapy. The experience left her amazed by the profound impact pelvic floor rehabilitation can have on someone’s life, regardless of whether they have had children or not. After graduating, she relocated to Alaska and immersed herself in the field of pelvic health physical therapy. Over the past five years, she has honed her expertise in pelvic rehabilitation and is now more enthusiastic than ever about helping women heal and discover the incredible potential of their pelvic floor muscles.
