Rebecca, a native of Portland, obtained her doctorate of physical therapy from Boston University in 2011. Her approach to treatment is centered around tailoring it to the unique and intricate aspects of each individual’s daily life. During her time at BU, Rebecca discovered a passion for pelvic floor physical therapy, leading her to pursue further education in this field. She has gained expertise in pelvic health for men, women, and pediatrics, as well as pre- peri- and post-partum care. Rebecca has completed several pelvic floor continuing education courses through Herman and Wallace, focusing on conditions related to urinary dysfunction, fecal incontinence, constipation, pelvic pain, pregnancy, post prostatectomy, abdominal pain, and various other pelvic floor dysfunctions.
In addition to her pelvic floor work, Rebecca enjoys working with patients of all kinds and recognizes the profound interconnectedness of the pelvic floor with the rest of the body. She is proficient in treating orthopedic conditions throughout the body. Notably, she is a trauma-informed provider and Astym® Certified. Rebecca strongly believes in empowering individuals to actively participate in their own healing through education, while providing personalized care and guidance. Her ultimate goal is to help patients lead healthy, active lives and attain their desired potential.
