Rashmi Bandekar is an experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy, specializing in Orthopedic and Pelvic Health. She has been practicing since 2013 at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. Rashmi obtained her B.S. in Human Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, and later completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

To further enhance her skills, Rashmi successfully completed the Orthopedic Residency Specialty program at Kaiser Permanente Southern California. This program allowed her to achieve Board Certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Additionally, Rashmi received training from the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Institute, specializing in the treatment of pelvic health issues such as incontinence, bowel dysfunction, pregnancy-related problems, and pelvic pain. With 9 years of experience in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, Rashmi is dedicated to providing compassionate care to patients dealing with pain and immobility.

Rashmi’s approach as a physical therapist is centered around providing ease and comfort to her patients during their rehabilitation journey. She utilizes her expertise in manual therapy skills, exercise, and movement science to aid in their recovery. Rashmi also believes in the power of laughter and aims to incorporate humor into her sessions.

Outside of work, Rashmi enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, exploring new destinations through travel, immersing herself in the outdoors, dancing, and indulging in a diverse range of culinary delights.
