Rakhi Srivastava, MOT, OTR/L is a highly skilled occupational therapist with expertise in women’s and men’s pelvic floor health and rehabilitation. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Cincinnati and her Master’s in Occupational Therapy at Xavier University. With a strong background in inpatient rehabilitation and acute care, Rakhi transitioned into the specialized field of pelvic floor occupational therapy in 2018.
To enhance her knowledge and skills, Rakhi underwent rigorous training in pelvic floor therapy at the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She completed courses such as Pelvic Floor 1, 2A, and 2B, Visceral Mobilization of the Gastrointestinal System, and Perinatal Mental Health. Additionally, she pursued further education through Medbridge and other platforms.
From 2018 to 2022, Rakhi practiced at The Christ Hospital’s Joint and Spine Center outpatient location, where she played a crucial role in establishing and expanding the pelvic floor therapy program. In 2022, she embarked on a new venture by founding her own private practice, Queen City Pelvic Health and Wellness, LLC. This allowed her to approach treatments in a more holistic manner and continue her professional growth.
Rakhi’s dedication and expertise have been recognized by her peers. In August 2021, she received the Model Practice Award from the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association. Additionally, Rakhi served as an adjunct faculty member at Xavier University for 4.5 years between 2015 and 2019. During this time, she instructed undergraduate and graduate students in occupational therapy skills and acted as the Faculty Advisor for the student group, A Xavier Christmas. She also contributed to the Xavier University Mentoring Program as a mentor and served as a board member of the Southwest District of the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association.
