Rachna Mehta, PT, DPT, CIMT, OCS, PRPC, RYT 200, holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University in New York. With over 15 years of experience, Rachna has worked in outpatient hospital and private practice settings, specializing in Orthopedics and Pelvic Health. In 2009, she played a pivotal role in establishing one of the first Women’s Health Programs in an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Mercer County, New Jersey. Rachna is recognized for her contributions to pelvic health through her published articles in various publications.

Rachna’s extensive training includes certification as an Integrated Manual Therapist from Great Lakes Seminars, board certification in Orthopedics, certification as a Pelvic Rehab Practitioner, and registration as a yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance. She has received training in both Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga traditions, which she incorporates into her clinical practice. Currently, Rachna practices in an outpatient setting, where she primarily focuses on musculoskeletal, neurological, and pre- and post-operative surgical conditions. Her specialization lies in working with pelvic health patients who experience bowel and bladder issues, along with high pelvic pain. This interest has led her to explore eastern holistic healing traditions and complementary medicine, attending workshops with international teachers.

Rachna is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, as well as the APTA’s Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy and Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy. In addition to her clinical work, she also owns TeachPhysio, a PT education and management consulting company. She serves as a faculty member at the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, where she teaches a course on Acupressure for Optimal Pelvic Health. This course offers an evidence-based approach, exploring complementary medicine as a powerful tool for holistic management, addressing the physical, emotional, and energy aspects of an individual.
