Patricia Reynolds, PT, DPT, is a highly qualified physical therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for the Health Sciences. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Patricia was inspired to pursue a career in physical therapy after volunteering with the Red Cross at the Military Advanced Training Center of Walter Reed Army Medical Center, where she witnessed the positive impact physical therapists had on the lives of veterans returning from war.
Patricia specializes in pelvic health and is a Herman and Wallace-trained Pelvic Health Clinician. She has a certificate in Adult Bladder and Urinary Incontinence from Medbridge and is currently working towards her Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification. As a member of the Physical Therapy Partners rehabilitation team, Patricia primarily treats patients with pelvic health issues. In her previous role, she led the pelvic health program for an outpatient orthopedic clinical system and provided training to other clinicians on the latest techniques and research in the field.
Patricia also has a strong interest in evaluating and treating concussions and vestibular rehabilitation. She is well-versed in the evaluation and treatment of various specialty areas, including musculoskeletal conditions and other neurological conditions. Patricia’s approach to patient care is centered around reducing pain, restoring movement, and empowering patients with knowledge about their bodies. She believes in helping each patient regain autonomy over their body from day one. Patricia is committed to staying updated on the most current research and holds additional certificates in Adult Bladder and Urinary Incontinence (Medbridge), Orthopedic Excellence: The Spine (Medbridge), and Myofascial Manipulation (The University of St. Augustine for the Health Sciences).
Outside of work, Patricia enjoys spending time hiking and biking with her family, as well as reading. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to effectively communicate with a diverse range of patients.
