She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Science from East Tennessee State University in 2010. She then pursued her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at ETSU in 2013. During her clinical rotations, she developed a deep interest in Pelvic Health and decided to further her education in this specialty. Immediately after completing her studies, she engaged in extensive continuing education programs focused on Pelvic Health and Orthopedics through the Herman and Wallace Institute for Pelvic Rehabilitation and the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments.
With over 8 years of experience, she has received comprehensive training in the treatment of pelvic floor and total body conditions across all age groups. Her expertise covers various issues related to pregnancy, postpartum, complex pain, auto-immune disease, urogynecological, colorectal, neuro, and orthopedic dysfunctions. When working with patients, she applies her knowledge of biomechanics to address their needs from head to toe.
Her passion lies in conducting thorough assessments for each patient as a unique individual. She aims not only to identify the root causes of their symptoms but also to help them understand the mechanisms at play within their bodies. By doing so, she empowers her patients to take an active role in their healing process. Her treatment approach combines hands-on manual therapy, tailored exercise regimens, and patient education.
