Born in New York City and raised in Long Island, New York, Naja has an extensive educational background in physical therapy and health promotion. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Florida A&M University in 1999 and went on to earn her doctorate in physical therapy with a focus on health promotion and complementary alternative medicine (CAM) from Simmons College in 2014. Currently, Naja is pursuing a Master of Health Administration (MHA) from LSU-Shreveport, which she expects to complete in Fall 2023.
Throughout her career, Naja has gained experience in various healthcare settings, including outpatient, acute-care, inpatient rehab, long-term acute care, and short-term rehabilitation. However, after witnessing women struggle to reach their functional potential in physical rehabilitation, Naja decided to shift her focus. In 2013, she embarked on a mission to help women with their gender-specific health issues, specializing in pelvic health physical therapy. Naja’s expertise extends beyond pelvic health, as she is also trained in neural manipulation techniques, visceral manipulation techniques, orthopedics, myofascial release techniques, craniosacral therapy techniques, lymphatic drainage techniques, and lifestyle medicine applications. By taking a holistic approach to her practice, Naja aims to improve the overall health and wellness of her clients, addressing the mind, body, and spirit.
Naja’s integrative approach allows her to provide exceptional support to her clients on their journey towards a healthy lifestyle.
