Myriam Coker, PT, DPT, was born and raised in Tupelo, MS. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from the University of Mississippi. As a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College, Myriam actively engaged with the community, both as a citizen and a scholar. It was through these experiences that she discovered her passion for physical therapy.

Myriam pursued her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. During her clinical experiences, she had the opportunity to delve into the field of pelvic health, which ignited her curiosity. After completing her first pelvic floor course, Myriam realized that she had found her true calling.

As a physical therapist, Myriam is dedicated to addressing a wide range of pelvic health issues in both men and women. She firmly believes that no one should suffer in silence when it comes to these matters. Myriam is committed to promoting awareness and providing effective treatment options within the community.

Outside of work, Myriam enjoys spending quality time outdoors at Shelby Farms with her husband and golden retriever. She also finds solace in reading books and nurturing her house plants.
