Michelle’s career in physical therapy began in 2002 after she earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree with honors from the University of Michigan. Throughout her career, Michelle has had a strong emphasis on lifelong learning and teaching. She has held positions as an adjunct professor at The University of Michigan, teaching within the Biology and Physical Therapy Departments. Additionally, Michelle has taught various continuing education courses focused on pelvic floor rehabilitation and has provided mentorship to her colleagues.

To further her professional development, Michelle has pursued advanced training in numerous areas, including pelvic floor physical therapy, Graston Technique, Kinesio Taping, various manual therapy techniques, LSVT for Parkinson’s Disease, and dry needling. Michelle is a certified CAPP pelvic floor PT for both men and women and also holds a certification in dry needling from the Integrative Dry Needling Institute.
