Merthia holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, which she obtained from The University of Maryland-Eastern Shore. As the founder and owner of Abilities Abound Physical Therapy and Wellness Center in Callao, VA, she has dedicated herself to providing exceptional care to her patients. Throughout her years of practice, Merthia developed a particular interest in working with individuals who suffer from pelvic floor dysfunction.

To further enhance her expertise in this area, she successfully completed Pelvic Floor Function, Dysfunction, and Treatment Level 1 through the renowned Herman & Wallace Institute. As a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and a credentialed Clinical Instructor, Merthia remains committed to staying at the forefront of her field.
