Melanie graduated from the University of South Alabama in 1996, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science with a minor in Chemistry. In 2001, she furthered her education at the same university and earned a Master of Physical Therapy degree. Melanie has obtained certification in dry-needling from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy and has completed specialized training in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Additionally, she has completed all coursework at the McKenzie Institute, focusing on mechanical diagnosis and therapy for neck, low back, and extremity pain. Melanie is also certified as an ergonomic evaluator and a functional capacity evaluator. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, fishing, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Currently, Melanie serves as a physical therapist at Community Rehab Physical Therapy in Gulfport, MS.
