She studied physical therapy at Nazareth College in Rochester, New York and graduated in 2010. For 8 years, she worked in an outpatient physical therapy clinic in Maryland before recently relocating to Buffalo, NY. She has received training in pelvic floor physical therapy from the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, and she also holds a postpartum corrective exercise specialist certificate. Her interest in pelvic floor rehabilitation grew after experiencing pregnancy and childbirth firsthand. This personal experience has given her a deeper understanding of the questions and concerns that women have about exercise and symptoms during pregnancy, as well as the importance of proper postpartum recovery to return to previous activities and hobbies.
She is passionate about educating women on the fact that many conditions that are often considered “normal” can actually be treated with pelvic floor physical therapy. In her approach, she not only assesses pelvic floor tissues and joints, but also draws upon her experience as an orthopedic clinician to consider other areas of the body that may be contributing to her patients’ symptoms. Her main motivation is to alleviate her patients’ pain and empower them with exercises and healthy habits to manage their symptoms and achieve their goals.
Currently, she treats patients for Sports Physical Therapy of NY and operates from their Wheatfield and Tonawanda locations.
