McKenzie earned her B.S. in Human Movement Science from Utah State University in 2016. She then pursued her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University in 2019. McKenzie underwent specialized training in pelvic floor rehabilitation at the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.

In her practice, McKenzie focuses on treating a range of pelvic floor dysfunctions including incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, and providing pre and postpartum care. To address these issues, she employs various intervention techniques such as biofeedback, real-time ultrasound, manual therapy, and re-education for non-optimal movement strategies and breathing patterns.
