With 30 years of professional experience in various inpatient rehab and outpatient settings, the individual is well-versed in providing care. They obtained a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Springfield College in 1992 and a Doctorate from Boston University in 2005. Presently, they own Evolution Medical Associates, LLC, a small clinic in Clearwater, FL that offers integrated services in internal medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lactation consulting, and acupuncture. Over the past two decades, the individual has developed expertise in women’s health, specializing in areas such as bladder, bowel, and sexual dysfunction, post-breast cancer lymphedema, prenatal and postpartum care, and infertility. In 2014, they co-founded the Pelvic Health Research Initiative, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting research in pelvic health, and currently hold the position of president. The individual is a certified lymphedema therapist and has extensive training in visceral manipulation, myofascial release, and other manual techniques. Additionally, they hold a certification in musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging. Their interest in infertility initially sparked while working with women who had visceral fascial restrictions and coincidentally faced fertility issues. Noticing a significant amount of success anecdotally, they published a case series report in the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association in 2012, focusing on manual therapy techniques for treating infertility. This publication led to the development of a pilot study on manual therapy for women’s infertility across multiple sites. To train other therapists in the infertility protocol, the individual has created continuing education courses on Lymph Drainage and Vascular Release for the Pelvic PT. They also serve as a teaching assistant for the Barral Institute, Chikly Institute, and Herman & Wallace.
