In 2014, they earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiology from the University of Washington. Two years later, they relocated to Long Island, NY to pursue their Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). They successfully completed their doctoral program in 2019, receiving honors as an inductee into the Alpha Eta Honors Society. Additionally, they were recognized for their outstanding achievements with the New York Physical Therapy Association’s Student Participation Award and NYIT’s Physical Therapy Research Award.

During their time at NYIT, they gained valuable experience through an internship in Chicago, where they had the privilege of studying under a Women’s Health Physical Therapist. This experience ignited their passion for working with women who suffer from pelvic floor dysfunction. They now specialize in treating women throughout pregnancy, as well as those dealing with urinary incontinence and pelvic pain.

Following their graduation in 2019, they began their career at an outpatient physical therapy office in Chicago. They later moved on to work in the Women’s Health department at Northwestern. In the spring of 2021, they relocated to Kansas and now serve the Kansas City Metro area, specifically in Lee’s Summit, MO, at Empower Your Pelvis. Their practice extends to both men and women in the region.

Driven by their commitment to continuous learning, they have completed various specialized courses to enhance their expertise. These include the Pelvic Floor Level 1 course, Pregnancy Rehabilitation, and Pudendal Neuralgia, Bowel Pathology and Function through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. They have also completed the 2A (Pelvic Pain) and 2B (Bowel Dysfunction) courses, as well as Male Pelvic Health. Furthermore, they are a certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, further expanding their ability to support women’s health.
