Maddy is a highly qualified physical therapist who graduated from Brigham Young University-Hawaii in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science. She then pursued further education and obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University at the Phoenix Biomedical Campus, graduating with the class of 2020.
Maddy has taken several courses to enhance her expertise, including the Level 1, Level 2A, and 2B courses through Herman and Wallace, which have certified her in pelvic floor therapy. She also received training in PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) and holds a CrossFit level 2 certification, as well as a USA Weightlifting Level 1 certification.
With her diverse skill set, Maddy specializes in treating athletes, as well as a wide range of musculoskeletal, pelvic floor, and neurological conditions. She has even participated in medical missions to Jamaica, providing physical therapy services. Maddy particularly enjoys working with patients who experience pelvic pain and incontinence, and she places a strong emphasis on helping post-partum individuals return to functional exercise.
Having been an athlete herself and having undergone physical therapy, Maddy understands the importance of having an encouraging and supportive therapist. She strives to bridge the gap between physical therapy, chronic illness, and overall health and well-being, utilizing her education and training to provide comprehensive care to her patients.
Outside of the clinic, Maddy loves exploring the great outdoors, traveling, participating in CrossFit activities, and competing in Olympic weightlifting.
