Lisa Tate, MSPT, WCS, CLT obtained her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University (formerly Beaver College). With expertise in vestibular rehabilitation, pelvic floor therapy, and lymphedema, she is a Certified Women’s Health Specialist and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. As the team leader for the pelvic rehabilitation program at Penn Therapy & Fitness, Lisa has contributed significantly to the field. She has presented her research on male and female pelvic pain at the APTA national conference and has published studies on the same topic.
Additionally, Lisa has shared her knowledge as a guest lecturer at various physical therapy programs and continuing education courses. Her dedication to advancing the profession is evident through her involvement in the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties Specialization Academy of Content Experts, where she serves as a test question writer for the specialist exam. Furthermore, Lisa is an active member of the APTA Clinical Guidelines Team for urinary incontinence in women.
Recognizing the importance of collaboration and knowledge-sharing, Lisa co-founded the Philadelphia Regional Pelvic Therapy Alliance.
