Lisa Charron, PT, DPT, holds a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Rhode Island. Throughout her career, she has received specialized training from the American Physical Therapy Association’s Section on Women’s Health (now known as the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy) and the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Lisa is an active member of the International Pelvic Pain Society and the American Physical Therapy Association, including the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy. Currently, she represents Rhode Island as the state representative for the Academy. Additionally, Lisa serves as the Vice Chair for the Rhode Island Pelvic Floor PTs interest group. Her clinical focus lies in the treatment of urinary and bowel dysfunction, sexual and pelvic pain, and pregnancy and postpartum care.
