Dr. Laurice Morton, a native of Bluefield, West Virginia, holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Alabama State University, which she obtained in 2011. She completed her undergraduate studies at Marshall University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry.
From 2012 to 2019, Dr. Morton worked at an outpatient and acute care hospital in Princeton, WV. During this time, she specialized in treating a diverse range of conditions including post-operative surgical patients, spinal pathologies from cervical to sacral regions, neurological disorders such as MS, Parkinson’s Disease, TBI’s, and spinal cord injuries spanning from cervical to lumbar regions. She also gained expertise in vestibular dysfunction and wound care.
Throughout her professional experience, Dr. Morton has acquired extensive knowledge and training in various techniques and approaches. These include kinesiotaping, Myofascial Release, Pelvic Floor therapy (Herman and Wallace method), a wide range of manual treatments, and neuro rehabilitation.
