Kristin, a Minnesota native, has always had a passion for health and wellness. She pursued her education at Minnesota State University Mankato, where she graduated with honors in 2012. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology, Chemistry, and Spanish. Continuing her education, Kristin obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL in 2017.
Throughout her career as a physical therapist, Kristin has gained valuable experience in various settings, including working as a travel therapist, specializing in outpatient orthopedics, and focusing on pelvic health. She has undergone extensive training, completing courses offered by Herman and Wallace on pelvic dysfunctions, such as urinary and fecal incontinence, urogynecologic pain syndromes, including chronic pelvic pain, vulvar pain, interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome, as well as colorectal and coccyx conditions and pudendal nerve dysfunction. Additionally, she has received specialized training in Yoga for Pelvic Pain and Athlete’s & Pelvic Rehabilitation.
Kristin’s dedication to her field extends beyond her professional life. She actively volunteers with kids’ ministries and cherishes spending quality time with her family. Her passion lies in pelvic health, and she takes great joy in educating patients and their families about pelvic disorders and the ways in which physical therapy can greatly improve their quality of life. With her guidance, patients can reach their fullest potential and live a life of optimal health and wellness.
