Meet Klaire, a dedicated pelvic health physical therapist who is passionate about helping women during their prenatal and postpartum journeys. Klaire holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Auburn University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Alabama State University. She is also a certified Prenatal and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES).
Klaire initially began her career as an orthopedic-focused physical therapist before realizing her true calling in serving the prenatal and postpartum population. She has always been passionate about physical therapy, but it is her desire to help mothers feel capable and strong in their own bodies that truly drives her.
Drawing from her expertise in both returning individuals to exercise and assisting pregnant and postpartum patients, Klaire takes a holistic approach to her practice. She firmly believes that with basic education and guidance, the aches and pains that often arise during and after pregnancy can be eased. Through the right care, patients can regain their strength and confidence to return to activities they love, including high-impact exercises like running and jumping.
Klaire works with patients in the North Alabama area, but she also offers virtual sessions for those located elsewhere. She understands that postpartum individuals are like performance athletes, and she treats them as such. Her goal is to ensure that her patients receive the support they need to navigate the physical challenges of motherhood.
As a mother herself, Klaire knows firsthand the importance of preparing for labor and delivery. When she discovered she was pregnant, she embarked on a specific training regimen to ensure she entered motherhood feeling confident and strong. By incorporating cardio and strength training throughout her pregnancy, Klaire experienced a healthy postpartum journey devoid of chronic pain or dysfunction.
Now, Klaire wants to help other women achieve the same level of strength and stamina during their own prenatal and postpartum experiences. She believes that every mother deserves to feel empowered and supported on their journey to physical well-being.
