Kendra-Lynn Bisconti, formerly known as Kendra-Lynn Kohanski, achieved her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Rhode Island in 2014. She then pursued her passion for physical therapy and earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from URI in 2017.

Kendra’s interest in pelvic health began during her clinical affiliation at Women and Infants’ Hospital in Providence, RI. This experience motivated her to join the staff at Pappas Physical and Hand Therapy of North Providence later that year. Over the course of 5 years, Kendra dedicated herself to developing a successful pelvic health program at the clinic.

In search of new opportunities, Kendra recently transitioned to Spaulding Pelvic Rehab with Care New England. As a member of the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) and the RI Women’s Health Special Interest Group, she actively participates in professional development and knowledge sharing. In fact, Kendra has served as both secretary and chair of the special interest group.

To further specialize in pelvic health, Kendra has completed various continuing education courses. She has successfully completed the Pelvic Dysfunction Level 1, 2a, and 2b programs, as well as training in Care of the Postpartum Patient and Capstone at the renowned Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehab Institute.

Kendra’s expertise allows her to provide comprehensive care to individuals of all genders. She offers treatment for a range of conditions including urinary incontinence, urinary urgency and frequency, constipation, sexual dysfunction, and various forms of pelvic pain such as interstitial cystitis and endometriosis.
