Dr. Kelly Djernes possesses an enduring fascination with the remarkable intricacy of the human anatomy. She firmly believes that our bodies are inherently designed for movement and possess an incredible ability to self-heal when trained to move correctly. Having obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Dr. Djernes has been providing outpatient physical therapy services in the Omaha area since 2012. Her true fulfillment lies in assisting individuals in reclaiming their previous level of functionality and returning to the activities they cherish.

Throughout her pregnancy and postpartum journey with her first daughter, Dr. Djernes felt a deep sense of purpose to aid other women in navigating the distinct physical challenges that accompany motherhood. As a result, she pursued specialized training in the evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor conditions through the esteemed Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Additionally, in 2019, she achieved an additional certification in Pregnancy and Postpartum Physical Therapy from the American Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Djernes firmly believes that mothers possess miraculous, life-giving bodies that often go unnoticed due to the demands of parenting. Her mission is to equip and empower pregnant and postpartum women to rediscover their fitness and strength within their new bodies.

In her personal life, Dr. Djernes is blessed with a loving husband named Nick, as well as their lively daughters: Brenna, Adelynn, and Willa. The family delights in exploring the wonders of the great outdoors, indulging in the joy of reading storybooks (with a particular fondness for the timeless tale of ‘Going on a Bear Hunt’), creating delightful messes, and even staging musical performances for an attentive audience of stuffed animals.
