He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1989 and specialized in orthopedics/spine until 1998. At that time, he underwent training in treating pelvic floor dysfunctions. Over the years, he has taken numerous classes on various pelvic floor specialties, such as bladder dysfunctions, bowel dysfunctions, pregnancy/post-partum care, visceral mobilization, pudendal nerve treatment, coccyx pain treatment, mind-body connection, nutrition, and more, primarily from Herman Wallace. In 2010, he became certified in pelvic floor treatment by the APTA.

He currently works in a facility alongside three other experienced specialists in pelvic floor dysfunctions. At this facility, they exclusively treat patients with pelvic floor issues, including both women and men. Additionally, he serves as a teaching assistant for the level 1 pelvic floor course at Herman Wallace, which he began in 2017.
