Dr. Karen Snowden holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy degree from Northeastern University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Widener University. She is certified by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in Women’s Health, Pregnancy and Postpartum, and Pelvic Physical Therapy. Additionally, she is an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor.

Dr. Snowden specializes in the treatment of pelvic health issues in all genders, including pain, bladder and bowel dysfunction, and sexual dysfunction. She also focuses on pregnancy-related disorders and women’s health concerns throughout the lifespan, including menopause. As an international instructor for the APTA’s Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy, she trains physical therapists in the treatment of pelvic and obstetric physical therapy. She also offers professional healthcare education on “Menopause Matters” through her website, www.snowdenlitos.com.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Snowden serves as adjunct faculty in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at DeSales University. She is actively involved in several professional committees, including serving as Chair of the APTA Academy of Pelvic Health’s Education Review Committee and CAPP Case Review Committee. She also contributes to the International Education Committee. Dr. Snowden is a member of the Lehigh Carbon Community College PT Assistant Advisory Committee and the Philadelphia Consortium of Pelvic Physical Therapists.
