Karen holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Michigan at Flint. She also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Clinical Exercise Physiology from Grand Valley State University. With her training from the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, Karen has become skilled in pelvic floor rehabilitation. She is dedicated to helping individuals with various pelvic health issues, as well as those with prenatal and postpartum needs. In addition, Karen has undergone extensive training in Functional Manual Therapy through the Institute of Physical Art. She is also certified in Functional Dry Needling Levels 1 and 2. Karen’s commitment to ongoing education allows her to incorporate different approaches and perspectives to uncover the underlying causes of dysfunction. She takes a holistic, whole-body approach to patient care. Outside of the clinic, Karen enjoys activities such as running, practicing yoga, and exploring new recipes in the kitchen.
