Karen obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree and Certificate in Physical Therapy from Simmons College in 1982. In 2007, she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Widener University in Chester, PA. Additionally, she completed her training at the IM School of Health Arts in New York City in 1997, where she studied Core Energetic principles, psycho-spiritual integration, and hands-on healing. Karen is also a Reiki Master.

To further expand her expertise, Karen underwent training in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunctions through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. By combining her solid foundation in orthopedic physical therapy with diverse manual and integrative complementary care techniques, she offers a personalized and holistic approach to pelvic floor rehabilitation.

Karen’s extensive post-graduate training includes courses at the Harvard Medical School/Institute for Mind/Body Medicine and the Upledger Institute for CranioSacral Therapy, focusing on holistic healing and manual therapy. She is certified in Eden Energy Medicine, a self-care path that empowers individuals to balance and mobilize their body’s curative energies.

Karen has shared her knowledge and expertise by teaching classes at the Mind/Body Institute at St. Peter’s Medical Center in New Brunswick, NJ. Throughout New Jersey, she has led classes on relaxation and body awareness techniques. In her practice, she utilizes the Total Motion Release® program, a holistic DIY approach that helps individuals comfortably achieve a balance between strength and motion.
