Hello! The assistant treats both women and men for a wide range of pelvic conditions, including urinary and fecal incontinence, voiding dysfunction, dyspareunia (pain with intercourse), pelvic pain, post-prostatectomy pain, sacroiliac (SI) joint dysfunction, coccygodynia (tailbone pain), interstitial cystitis, vulvodynia and vulvar vestibulitis, abdominal pain, diastasis recti, and pain or dysfunction following a cesarean section. They obtained their Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Evansville (IN) in 2001 and later earned their Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2014 through the EIM Institute of Health Professions. Over the past 16+ years, they have received specialized pelvic education through Herman & Wallace or the APTA Section on Women’s Health. With a deep passion for pelvic health, the assistant’s practice is solely focused on this area. They find joy in their work and are dedicated to providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for their patients at High Pointe.
