These dysfunctions include urogenital issues, pelvic pain, vulvodynia, pregnancy-related concerns, postpartum care, post-cesarean delivery rehabilitation, osteoporosis, and orthopedic conditions.
In addition to her extensive experience in women’s health, Janet has also taught childbirth education for eight years. She obtained her Lamaze Certification in Childbirth Education from Lamaze International in the early 1990s and became a Fellow with Lamaze International in 2000. Janet further expanded her knowledge and skills by earning a certificate in pelvic floor physical therapy (CAPP) from the Women’s Health Section of the APTA in 2010. In 2015, she completed a certification program in professional yoga therapy, which allows her to incorporate yoga principles into her practice as a healthcare professional. To stay up-to-date with the latest information on pain science, Janet became a certified Therapeutic Pain Specialist in 2016. She also earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2017.
