Dr. Jackie Dooyema is an experienced Physical Therapist with over 8 years of practice. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Sioux Falls and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of South Dakota. After working in outpatient orthopedics for a few years, Dr. Dooyema felt a calling to specialize in pelvic health when she relocated to Nashville, Tennessee to support her husband’s pursuit of graduate education. She became the Clinic Director of an outpatient clinic that focused exclusively on pelvic health.

Upon returning to South Dakota, Dr. Dooyema recognized a significant need for specialized care and education for pregnant and postpartum women. She is deeply passionate about women’s health physical therapy and aims to bridge the gap in care by advocating, educating, and strengthening pregnant and postpartum women, empowering them to reach their full activity potential. Dr. Dooyema possesses unique education and training that sets her apart from others in the region, enabling her to deliver high-quality care.

As a mother of two, Dr. Dooyema understands the anxieties and concerns that accompany pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. She offers concierge in-home and telehealth appointments, providing 1-hour, one-on-one pelvic PT sessions tailored to each individual’s goals within the comfort of their own homes. Her services extend to women in South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa.
