Dr. Holly Horikawa earned her Bachelor of Science degree in BioKinesiology from Chapman University in 2001. She then pursued her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Duke University, graduating in 2005. While initially starting her career in pediatrics, Holly discovered her true passion for Women’s Health. Since 2006, she has been practicing within this specialty, integrating traditional physical therapy with modalities such as visceral and neural manipulation to provide holistic treatment.

Holly previously served as the lead therapist and director of cancer and breast therapies at Womanology + Restore Him in Irvine. During her time there, she completed various pelvic health-related continuing education courses and became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist after completing over 150 hours of training. She also initiated a Mastitis Treatment Program to assist nursing mothers dealing with blocked ducts, low milk supply, and breast infections.

In addition to her clinical work, Holly has given educational lectures for physicians and the community on topics such as pelvic physical therapy, breast health and wellness, and physical therapy for cancer survivors. She is also the resident therapist of the OC Chronic Pelvic Pain Support Group held at Lokahi Physical Therapy.

Holly is dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care to her patients. She prioritizes staying informed about new studies, treatment options, and techniques to offer the most comprehensive and up-to-date care. Recognizing the importance of the psychological aspect of healing, she emphasizes building rapport with her patients and addressing their emotional well-being alongside hands-on treatment.
