The assistant received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY in 1990, and later obtained a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Utica College in Utica, NY in 2014. Since 1994, their expertise has primarily been in treating pelvic floor disorders, with a focus on female incontinence, as well as providing therapy for males post prostatectomy and pelvic pain. Working in an outpatient hospital PT department allows them to also address various orthopedic conditions in addition to pelvic floor concerns. Furthermore, they contribute to the education of physical therapy students as the lecturer on pelvic floor topics for the PT program at Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences, which is affiliated with Mary Baldwin University.
