Gerry Van Dyke holds a Physical Therapy degree from Chicago Medical School and an Athletic Training degree from the University of Illinois. With more than 35 years of experience in sports medicine, he has worked with Olympic, professional, and major college athletes. Gerry is highly sought after as a national lecturer and is recognized for his informative blog on sports medicine and injury prevention. He has served on the sports medicine staffs of UC Berkeley, University of Illinois, and various colleges in the Bay Area. Currently, he continues to contribute to the sports medicine staff of the United States Olympic Committee. In the greater Santa Cruz/Monterey/San Benito Tri-County area, Gerry Van Dyke is the sole practitioner who holds both Board Certification in Sports Physical Therapy and licenses as a Physical Therapist and Certified Athletic Trainer.
