Prior to her graduate studies, she earned a B.A. in Economics from CUNY Hunter College, graduating with honors as Cum Laude. It was during her time in graduate school that Eva developed a keen interest in women’s health physical therapy.

To further her expertise in this field, Eva pursued and obtained her Herman & Wallace level 1 and 2A certification. This certification covers a wide range of conditions, including pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, urinary incontinence, chronic constipation, dyspareunia, vaginismus, endometriosis, pelvic girdle pain, sacroiliac joint pain, vulvodynia, pubic symphysis dysfunction, post-prostatectomy, and fecal incontinence.

Throughout her training, Eva completed diverse clinical rotations, which included an acute bedside (hospital) setting, orthopedic outpatient settings, and a specialized pelvic floor practice focusing on postpartum health. She also dedicated her time to shadowing experienced physical therapists, volunteering in rehabilitation departments at hospitals and outpatient clinics, and staying up to date with the latest research through podcasts and professional journals.

Eva’s patients consistently commend her for her patience, compassion, motivation, and ability to educate and guide them through both common and complex conditions. Through her work with individuals of all life stages, Eva has recognized the vital need for women’s health physical therapy services. Her mission is to contribute to the growth and standardization of this field, ensuring that women feel their best at every stage of life. Additionally, Eva aims to empower individuals, providing them with the knowledge and tools to take control of their own health and well-being.

Drawing upon her comprehensive training as a generalist physical therapist, Eva combines her passion for ongoing learning and commitment to evidence-based research. She strives to provide a holistic perspective when treating conditions affecting the pelvic floor, taking into account the interconnectedness of the entire body.
