Dr. Emily Reul, PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist with a diverse background in the field. Originally from Southern California, she relocated to Carrollton, GA where she obtained her B.S. in Biology at the University of West Georgia. Dr. Reul then pursued her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Tampa, FL.

Throughout her career, Dr. Reul has gained experience in various settings, including outpatient orthopedics, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities. Her expertise extends to treating a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries, which she became familiar with through her 11 years of playing volleyball, including her collegiate years at the University of West Georgia.

In addition to her orthopedic background, Dr. Reul also has personal experience with the challenges of incontinence. As a child, she struggled with nocturnal incontinence (bed wetting) until the 6th grade, as well as urinary frequency during the day. These conditions caused her significant embarrassment, especially as a middle schooler, and led to frequent detentions for multiple bathroom visits during school hours. Dr. Reul underwent extensive testing, imaging, and tried various nasal sprays and medications in search of a solution.

Currently, Dr. Reul remains committed to an active lifestyle, participating in activities such as running half marathons and attending spin classes. Her personal experiences with both orthopedic injuries and incontinence have given her a unique perspective and empathy towards her patients. Dr. Reul is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care, helping individuals overcome their physical challenges and improve their quality of life.
